William Mills discussed the five year projecture for the sewer Board and also
the zoning for sewer.
Lyman Wakefield presented plans for a stable on his property, formerly the
Reimer farms. Moved by Robert Franklin that we.grant a special ,;se permit to
Lyman Wakefield for the construction of the riding stable as presented on the
sketch} of'their property and also approval of moving ink the house they have
described, subject to the approval of the building inspector and the road
supervisor.

Ed Sorgatz of the Hennepin County Park Reserve appeared with regard to horse
trails in Park. Moved by Robert Franklin that we write to Hennepin County
to assist with upgrading and maintaining Homestead Trail for the use of
the horseback riders.

Joe Koch, Mrs. Odelia Roers and Henry Lehn of the Council of the Village of
Loretto appeared to discuss getting together to work out program as to
services, etc.. between the two Villages. Some of their members will meet
with the zoning and planning committee on May 22nd.
Robert Franklin read the present dog ordinance. Discussion. Moved by Thomas
Stevens that we go on with the pre ent or finance with the addition to make it

Bill Cavanaugh and John Day presented a petition for sewer and water in the
Medina Industrial Addition and Medina Industrial Second Addition. Moved by
Robert Franklin to receive the Petition for Improvements and also that we
ask Mr. Mills to prepare a feasibility test and report and find out what
powers we hare under the Metro Sewer Board.

A letter of thanks from Mrs. H; W. Silfverston for the Resolution which the
Council passed upon the death of Mr. Silfverston.

Robert Franklin reported that he had written a letter to the present owners of
the Independence Beach dance hall to finish taking down the building, but he
has only started at one corner. Moved by Robert Franklin that we authorize legal
action to force the destruction of the dance hall and to require a fence to be
put up during the destruction.

Robert Franklin reported on meetings of Zoning Committee. They plan on sending
out questionaires on sewer to the Southeast corner of Village and Independence
Beach. Also considering changing the white areas of the zoning map to RA.
Studied map of Refuse hauling routes. Moved by Robert Franklin that we again
ask the Countyto -Vice over Hamel Road from 19 to Tomahawk and also Boyer Road
as long as they are their hauling routes.

A leter from Vernon Olson with regard to the fire call on his taxes. After
discussion with members of the Hamel fire department, it was decided that the
matter would be left as doands. Clerk to write a letter to Mr. Olson.

5,722.43 and order checks in the amount of $7,5634.78.

Discussion of connection fee for sewer and water when no, opening is present
in the main lines. Moved by Robert Franklin to grant Donald Des Lauriers
350.00 credit on the openings he had to have made at a certain lot.
