A RESOLUTION: DESIGNATING THE NEW PARKING FACILITY ON EAST
LOUDOUN STREET "VINEGAR HILL MUNICIPAL PARKING
LOT"
RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia,
as follows:
The new parking facility located on East Loudoun Street
shall be designated "Vinegar Hill Municipal Parking Lot."

TOWN OF LEESBURG

ADOPTE~ December 27,'1978
APPROVING THE DESIGN AND AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF
BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN OFF-STREET PARKING
FACILITY ON THE FORMER FOODMAKER SITE AND AUTHORIZING
A PERMIT PARKING SYSTEM.
RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia,
as follows:
SECTION I.
Vinegar Hill
The design and bid documents for the proposed
Municipal Parking Lot as prepared by De-
Lashmutt Associates is approved and the manager is authorized and
directed to solicit bids for the construction of the parking facility.
SECTION II. The manager is authorized and directed to des-
ignate between 50 and 83 spaces on the lot for permit parking only,
the actual number dePending on the demand for permits, and the
remaining spaces to be metered parking.
SECTION III. Following the Council's award of a construc-
tion contract for the project, the manager is authorized to rent
parking spaces to the general public on a permit parking system as
follows:

The rate for parking on the lot shall be $144.00 per
year if paid at one time in advance, $37.50 per
quarter if paid at one time in advance, and $14.00
monthly payable monthly in advance prorated semi-
monthly for new rentals.
Parking space rental entitles the permit holder to
occupy a reserved space on the lot without further
charge Monday through Friday.
Parking shall be on a first-come first-serve basis on
Saturdays and Sundays~ unmetered spaces only.

Quarterly rentals shall be for periods beginning
the first days of May, August, November and February.
