A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY, CALIFORNIA JOINING IN THE
OFFICIAL OBSERVANCE OF JUNE AS DAIRY MONTH.
WHEREAS, milk is everywhere accorded the distinction
of "Nature's most perfect food;" and
WHEREAS, millions of Americans on the dairy farms and
in the dairy industries of the Nation are, at this season, en-
gaged in the production of our greatest food in its most abundant
quantity and goodness; and
WHEREAS, all men recognize the energy - building values,
the economy, the pleasurable tastes of milk, butter, cheese, ice
cream and other dairy foods; and
WHEREAS, June Dairy Month calls public attention to the
high contribution of the dairy farm and dairy industry to the
common health and national well being;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple
City, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE that it be recorded as
joining in the official observance of June as Dairy Month and
as commending to our members and fellow citizens any and all
activities appropriately celebrating June Dairy Month.
Adopted and approved this 1st day of June, 1965.

adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular
meeting held on the 1st day of June, 1965, by the following vote
of the Council:

ABSENT: Councilman - Nunamaker
