ROLL CALL The meeting was called to order at 9:10 A.M. by President Barbara Green. Members Present: Barbara Green, Edwmrd Shelley, Nonette Hanko, Harry Turner, Richard Bishop, Daniel We din. Mwber Absent: Katherine Duffy. Personnel Present: Craig Britton and Steve Sessions, East Palo Alto Council Members Present: Henry E. Anthony, A. B. Driessel, and Brad Stamper. II. TOUR AND DISCUSSION OF THE EAST PALO ALTO BAYIZ�I /COOLEY LANDING AREA H. Anthony expressed East Palo Alto's interest in a park and marina at Cooley Landing. A. Recess for Travel to Cooley Landing The Board recessed for travel to Cooley Landing at 9:30 A.M. B. Site Tour Jay Thorwaldson conducted a tour of the site and discussed his Pelican Point marina project proposal. C. General Discussion The Board reconvened at East Palo Alto Municipal Council Chambers at 11:10 A.M. A general discussion followed concerning the economic benefit to East Palo Alto of a marina project, and the District's role in preserving open space in the area. The Board scheduled a Special Meeting for Tuesday, June 3, 1980, at 7:30 P.M. to discuss possible assumption of option for the Westbay Associates parcels adjacent to Cooley Landing. IV. ADJOUFdZI= The meeting adjourned at 12:00 Noon. Steven D.
