TOWN OF LEESBURG
IN
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VIRGINIA
PRESENTED March 28, 1979
79-45 ADOPTED March 28, 1979
ESTABLISHING CERTAIN SNOW REMOVAL POLICIES
RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia, as
follows:
SECTION I. The following policies will apply to Public Works
Department snow removal operations throughout town:
a. Other than adjacent to town property, snow is not to
be removed from sidewalks.
b. When necessary during significant snow accumulations, snow
plowed to the curb will be collected and removed when
adjacent to metered parking spaces on the metered side of
the street only, except that accumulations will be removed
from both sides of King Street between the Cornwall and Loudoun
Street intersections, and on Market Street between the Church
Street and Liberty Street intersections where there is
metered parking.
SECTION II. Interpretation and administration of these policies
shall ~be the responsibility of the manager.
