IN CObIXlECTION WITH PLENARY RETAIL
GONSIIV~fION LICE~ISE HEARING
on June 26 1997, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret (the "Borough") conducted a hearing regarding certain charges

and
WHEREAS, on the same date a hearing was also held regarding the Renewal
of the License for the License Year July 1, 1997 to June 30, 1998 (the
"License Year"); and
hearing the Mayor and Council of the Borough
WHEREAS, as a part of the
heard testimony f~om Detective Sergeant Ronald J..Be~ne. ~tt o_f .the, C. art
Police Departmmnt (the "Police Department"); a prznczpat o~ the ~zcens
holder; a witness on behalf of the Licenseholder; reviewed such evidence
as was presented and gave careful and due deliberation to the evidence
presented;
WHEREAS, by motion made and seconded the Borough S~spended the License
a period of ten (10) days effective July 10, 1997 and~imposed a
cf%dition that four (4) private Security p. ersor~.e~l be on duty during all
hours of operation who shall control crow~s insz~e the premises and
within the parking lot; and
WHEREAS, the Licenseholder has advised the Mayor a~d Council that it in-
tends to transfer the License; and
WHEREAS, an application for said transfer has been redeived by the
Borough Clerk and the .Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reco~isidered the Suspension portiOn
of their original decisiorm.
NOW, TH~RE~ BE IT RESOLWD as follows:
1.) The ten (10) days Suspension period originally imposed by
the Mayor and Council is hereby rescinded. ·
2.) The License is Renewed for the License Year subject to the
Condition that the Licenseholder have on duty during all
hours of operation four (4) security personnel who shall
maintain order both inside the licensed premises and in the
parking lot.

the original on JULY 18, 1997.
