ORDINANCE NO. l 5-4 3/,
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REGARDING DEPUTY CITY CLERKS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 2 (Administration) Section 333 (Deputy city clerks) is
amended as follows:
Sec.2-333. Deputy city clerks.
A. There is hereby established the position of deputy city clerk.
B. The City Clerk,with the approval of the City Administrator, may authorize and mover-rafter
• •- . • .. •: : appoint deputy city clerks.
C. The deputy city clerks shall assist and aid the city clerk in the performance of the duties of the city clerk
and, in the absence of the city clerk,shall perform all duties of the city clerk.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.
