TOWN OF LEESBURG

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VIRGINIA

ADOPTED' June 27, 1979
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
NORTHERN VIRGINIA PARK AUTHORITY AND VEPCO FOR
STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, Phase IV Storm Drainage Improvements on Town Branch
between the old railroad station on South Harrison Street and South
Liberty Street are required and included in the Town's Storm Drain-
age Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, the only feasible location for the required chain of
improvements is within the old Washington and Old Dominion right-of-
way:
RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
The Mayor is authorized to execute agreements with the Northern
Virginia Regional Park Authority and Virginia Electric and Power
Company which provide for use of the old Washington and Old Dominion
railroad right-of-way for storm drainage improvements to Town Branch
between South Liberty Street and South Harrison Street.
