The payment I received yesterday is from GBS Partners, LLC, a trustee for the U.S. Department of HUD at their Liberty, MO office (phone: 816-781-7234), and the check stub indicates "BUYER: Vogler". I have a copy of the original document showing the "Paid" status and release date of September 5, 2008, which I would be happy to fax to your office if-you wo.uld_proy de_me_with_a fax number. The Cole County Collector's office has confirmed this morning that there is no lien attached to the property taxes on their records. However, HUD is apparently under the impression that this tax lien is still outstanding. I am returning the check to GBS, and marking it "VOID" per your instructions when we spoke on the phone this morning. If you would like any more information, please let me know.
