A'RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE 2010-2011 FISCAL YEAR
ANNUAL CITY STREET FINANCIAL REPORT AS REQUIRED BY IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION BY SEPTEMBER 30, 2011
Whereas, the Code of Iowa, Chapter 312, Section 14 requires the submission of this report by
September 30, 2009. In,accordance with Section 312.15, -the Iowa Department of Transportation
must certify to the State Treasurer each city not complying with this section of the Code, and once
notified, the State Treasurer will withhold funds allocated to the city until the city complies.
Whereas, this report provides the Iowa Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway
Administration with a documented record of street receipts and expenditures for cities.
Whereupon after'carefdl review of the report on the 14th day of September 2011, at a regular City
Council meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Mike Gericke introduced A
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE 2010-2011 FISCAL YEAR ANNUAL CITY
STREET FINANCIAL REPORT AS -REQUIRED BY IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION BY SEPTEMBER 30, 2011, and made a motion for approval. The motion
was seconded by Councilperson Mark Petersen.
Ayes: Chris Bsall, Mike Gericke, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert
Nays: None
Absent: Jim Bartels
WHEREUPON, with Four votes for approval Mayor Phillips declared that the RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE 2010-2011 FISCAL YEAR ANNUAL CITY STREET
FINANCIAL REPORT AS REQUIRED BY IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION By
SEPTEMBER 30, 2011, be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature
thereto.
PASSED by the City Council of Tiffin on the 14th day of September 2011.
