A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR
BOND ARBITRAGE REBATE ANALYSIS SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to obtain the services of a qualified
financial ,consulting firm to provide bond arbitrage rebate analysis, to ensure the City's
compliance with federal tax laws relating to rebate of arbitrage earnings on certain tax
exempt bonds; and
WHEREAS, it is a common practice by cities to solicit proposals for certain
services; :and
WHEREAS, the proposals received from financial consulting firms would allow
City staff o select the service that would be most effective and efficient.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
order, and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That staff be authorized and directed to send out a Request for
Proposals for Bond Arbitrage Services, as presented in Attachment "A"
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
