TOWN OF LEESBURG
IN
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VIRGINIA

AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER TO EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT
WITH THE STATE CORPORATION COMMISSION FOR LEESBURG
MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg owns and operates an airport
in the Commonwealth of Virginia which is open to the public; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg as the owner-operator of this
airport facility is responsible for the improvements, maintenance
and safety of the facility; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg has received approval from the
State Corporation Commission of its application for a grant in aid
with the Commonwealth of Virginia;
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg,
Virginia, as follows:
SECTION I. The Town of Leesburg this date approves the project
as stated in the project application and authorizes the Town Manager
to sign and enter into agreement with the Commonwealth of Virginia
any and all documents necessary to accept for the Town of Leesburg
the state grant in aid monies for the Leesburg Municipal Airport
project.
SECTION II. The grant offer referred to above is incorporated
herein by reference and a copy will be attached.
