A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING THE SELECTION OF DAVID EVANS AND ASSOCIATES TO
PROVIDE ON-CALL TRAFFIC ENGINEERING SERVICES TO THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
. WHEREAS, the services of an outside Traffic Engineer are needed to
assist staff in addressing traffic related issues: and
WHEREAS, on June 22, 2006, the City of Lynwood released a Request
for. Proposals (RFP) for On-Call Traffic Engineering Services and
WHEREAS, six (6) engineering firms requested the RFP and three (3)
firms responded to the RFP; and
WHEREAS, David Evans & Associates is a qualified firm and has the
staffing and expertise to provide On-Call Traffic Engineering Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the Lynwood City Council approves the selection of
David Evans and Associates to provide On-Call traffic Engineering Services for a period
of three (3) years. Funds will be requested as part of the Engineering Division Budget
and CIP Division Budget.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the Agreement
between the City of Lynwood and David Evans and Associates.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th.day of October, 2006.
