A RESOLUTION: REGARDING BOARD OF ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW ACTION ON
23-25 SOUTH KING STREET
WHEREAS, the Board of Architectural Review refused a revised
historic district zoning permit for C. Herbert's Pearson's building
at 23-25 South King Street because the building exceeds the height
shown on plans originally approved by the Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board on November 20 referred the matter to this
Council:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in
Virginia, as follows:
SECTION I. The Board's concern for enforcement of the historic
district zoning regulations is appreciated.
SECTION II. The Town Attorney is directed to advise the Board
of Architectural Review as to what steps the town can take in cases
involving violation of the historic district zoning regulations.
