ORDINANCE NO. /8 L(
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 71 CONCERNIN:; FEES CHAlGED
FOR COPYING OPEN PUBLIC RECORDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNIN:; BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS:
SECTION 1. COPYING FEE
Section three of Ordinance Number 71 is hereby amended to read:
a. A fee of fifteen cents per page shall be charged for
photocopying pUblic records, such fee to cover the cost of materials
and equipment. One copy per person permitted.
b. For copying any public records which cannot be reproduced by
the City's photocopying equipment, the requester shall be charged the
actual cost to the City, including staff time, in reproducing such
records.
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE
This Ordinance will take effect and be in force after its publication
in the official city newspaper. All other sections of Ordinance
NUmber 71 shall be unaffected.
