FEBRUARY 18 1952
The connr11 of Bal Barbour Village met at the Administration
Building, Monday, February 18, 1952, at 8:00,o'clock P. M.
There were present: Messrs. Brown, Simons, Stokely and
Dr. Leonard .
Absent: Mt. Beatty
Also present were W. H. Webb, Village Manager; Mary Wetterer,
Village Clerk; and Fred Baisden, Village Attorney.
The minutes of the previous -meeting of January 211'1952 mere
read and on motion Of Mr. Brown,,seconded by Dr..Leonard.., the minutes
were approved.
Mt. Stokely reported that he had spokemto Mt. Nelson White of.
,the.Coaat Cities Coaches and afterwards sent 4 telegram to the Flori
RailrOad and Utilities CaMmission protesting the authorising.ofranother
line to start bus service.throttgh'Bal Barbour.
.Dr. Leonatd'eakedWhat had been done about changing the employees
Blue Cross "Plan and Mt. Webb said that was to ge into effect for4he
new budget. Mt. Simons said he had been considering different plans
for his offiCe and that he believed there were some better ones than
the Blue Cross. It was -decided that if he cared to present a plan
from another company they would be glad to review it.

The council then considered the statement for the first four
months operation "and after discussion on motion of Mt. Brovh, Secon-.
Jed by Dr. Leomard,:the statement was unanimously approved.
Mt. Brown said that he hivi spoken to Mt.,Baisden_about the, -
advisability Of having an:ordinance passed geye4Oke the exact type
.of construction that would be permitted on the °dear:front lots. .Mt.
BaiSden explained just what the passage of such an ordisanoe.woel4
entail and after discussion it was.J.deeided,the passage of such an
ordinance would not be feasible. -
There being no further business bofore_the meeting on motion
of Mt. Brown, seconded by Dr. Leonard, the meeting was adjourned.„
