Community Forum - Cable TV

The Greencastle Common Council met on Monday, June 11, 1990 at
7:00 p.m. at the Public Service Indiana building for the purpose of
community discussion of cable television. On call of the roll the
following members were shown to be present: Councilor Tim Conway,
Councilor Sue Murray, Councilor Bob Sedlack, Councilor Mike
Rokicki.
The following persons signed a list indicating the need for
service:

Councilor Sedlack added two others in need of service:

Concerns expressed during the discussion were poor service,
discourteous service, poor reception, increased costs, converter
costs, choice of channels, long term contracts, possible increase
in fees due to an upgrade, upper channel difficulty, lower channel
difficulty, loss of audio signal, training of the service
technicians, response time, and the extension of service to newly
annexed parts of the city.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
