A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF
TO RELEASE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO QUALIFIED CONSULTANTS TO
PROVIDE RECREATION MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE FOR THE LYNWOOD
RECREATION & COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT
~ WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood purchasing guidelines require that a formal
Request for Proposals is issued for purchases in excess of $15,000; and
WHEREAS, The Recreation & Community Services Department is interested in
automating program registration & event reservation services to provide better customer
service; and
WHEREAS, the anticipated cost for the management software will exceed
$15,000; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to have qualified vendors bid for the
opportunity to provide aweb-based, Recreation Management application and software.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY FIND, ORDER,
AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That City staff is authorized to solicit bids for Recreation
Management Software Services from qualified consultants through a Request for
Proposals (RFP).
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of November, 2006
