Leesburg Water Treatment Plant Annual Maintenance
Scheduled for November 4 & 5, 2010
Customers will have no interruption of service due to interagency cooperation
with Loudoun Water
Leesburg, VA (November 3, 2010) – The Leesburg Water Treatment Plant will be taken out of
service at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2010 for annual maintenance. The plant will
return to service not later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2010. Leesburg utility
customers will have no interruption in service during the maintenance operations.
The outage is necessary for clearwell cleaning and maintenance. During the outage, a
connecting line to Loudoun Water will be activated in order to maintain service levels to
Leesburg utility customers. Throughout the maintenance operations, Leesburg Utility
Department staff will be on site to monitor water quality and tank levels.
