A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT FOR SLIM'S
LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF TIFFIN, IOWA EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 14, 2011
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa has reviewed and will determine the renewal
of the Alcohol Permit requested by the business establishment known as "Slim's" located within the
city limits of Tiffin, Iowa.
Whereas, the City Council has not discovered any reason to deny the renewal of the Alcohol
Permit for "Slim's". City Council directs the City Clerk to submit for local authority, approval of permit
to the State of Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division.
Now, Therefore Be It Resolved, the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa does now approve the renewal of
the Alcohol Permit for the business of "Slim's" located within the corporate city limits.
On the 10 day of September 2011, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa.
Councilperson Mike Gericke made a motion for APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF THE ALCOHOL
PERMIT FOR "SLIM'S" LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF TIFFIN, IOWA EFFECTIVE
October 14, 2011. Seconded by, Council person Chris Ball.
Ayes: Chris Ball, Mike Gericke, Mark Petersen, Travis Weipert
Nays: None
Absent: Jime Bartels
WHEREUPON, Four votes have been made for approval, Mayor Royce Phillips declared that the
RESOLUTION 2011-40 APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF THE ALCOHOL PERMIT FOR THE
BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT KNOWN AS "SLIM'S" LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF
TIFFIN, IOWA EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 14, 2011, be adopted and signifies his approval of the same
by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 14th day of September 2011.
