A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE HAZARDOUS MATERIAL REMOVAL PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 05-5295 AS
COMPLETE
WHEREAS, on August 15, 2006, the City Council awarded a contract of
$136,943 to Interior Demolition, Inc: for the Hazardous Material Removal project;
Project No. 05-5237; and

WHEREAS, the project started on September 15, 2006 and was completed on
November 10, 2006; and
WHEREAS, the final total cost of the project was $152,.867 due to a change
order required to handle additional work resulting from a fire at one of the structures
scheduled for demolition; and
WHEREAS, staff inspected the project on November 13, 2006, and found that all
work is complete in accordance with the project plans and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council accepts the Hazardous Material Removal
Project; Project No. 05-5295 as complete in accordance with contract documents.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of December, 2006.
