A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE AN EXTENSION AGREEMENT WITH THE RECREATION
CONSULTANT FOR SIX MONTHS.
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood ("CITY") wishes to continue obtaining for. its
benefit the Recreation Consultant ("CONSULTANT") pursuant to the existing agreement
i~~ between CITY and CONSULTANT dated August, 2005 (the "AGREEMENT"); and

'.,,,,.~' WHEREAS, the CONSULTANT also wishes to continue providing the services to
the CITY; and
WHEREAS, at its meeting on June 20, 2006 the CITY decided to extend the
Consultant's AGREEMENT for an additional six-month period (commencing July 1,
2006 and ending December 31, 2006); and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to extend the Consultant's AGREEMENT for an
additional six-month period (commencing January 1, 2007 and ending June 30, 2007);
and
WHEREAS, the Recreation Consultant current annual cost is approximately
$42,000; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE- AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council authorizes the Mayor to execute the attached
agreement entitled "AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
~-, LYNWOOD AND THE RECREATION CONSULTANT FOR PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES."
SECTION 2. That the City Council authorizes the payment of $ 3,500 per month
for services rendered for the six-month contract amendment.
SECTION 3. That this Resolution take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19t"day of December 2006.
