Five Leesburg Businesses Among Winners of Loudoun
Chamber of Commerce’s 2010 Small Business Awards
Leesburg, VA (November 5, 2010) – Five Leesburg businesses are among nine award winners at the
2010 Loudoun Chamber of Commerce’s 2010 Small Business Awards on Thursday, November 4,
2010.
The Loudoun Chamber Small Business Awards honor the best of Loudoun’s small businesses in nine
award categories. The night’s top honor of Small Business of the Year was awarded to Omnilert,
LLC. Omnilert was the recipient of the 2009 Technology Business of the Year Award from the
Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce. The other Leesburg winners were:
• AgriComm Business of the Year: Mom’s Apple Pie
• Retailer of the Year: The Wine Kitchen
• Home Based Business of the Year: J. Morris Flowers
• Service Business of the Year: ProJet Aviation, LLC
“Small businesses are the key to sustainable business development and future innovation in
Leesburg,” said Marantha Edwards, Leesburg’s Economic Development Manager. “Recognition of
these businesses’ excellence by the Chamber helps build positive momentum for the entire
Leesburg business community.”
Over eighty Leesburg businesses were nominated for the Loudoun Chamber Small Business Awards
and twelve Leesburg businesses were award finalists. The Town of Leesburg would like to
congratulate the winners, the finalists and all of the Leesburg businesses that were nominated for
the 2010 Small Business Awards.
