Discussion of Farming activities at Elmwood Farm on Ash St. had not been reviewed by members present so that discussion was tabled till Nov. Discussion of CPC Application was opened and discussed in length by Nancy Peters asking for 3 Granite benches, one at each end of the trail and one mid-way to the School. Granite will be provided by OSPC as it is their possession from a previous land taking, we will get estimates from Tom McIntyre and Mike Whelan for moving and transportation to site and set up. The three benches will be 18” high, 4’ long and supported on each side by 8X18 pcs of granite. Jeff Doherty will walk the trail with Peter LaGoy who suggested that there were two areas where existing flat rock quasi seats were in place. The board is estimation this to come in at $3500 but will fine tune the proposal once the estimates are secured. Motion made by Nancy Peters, seconded by Ed Harrow Approved unanimously. Under Old Business a discussion from September on Echo Lake trails, Peter LaGoy approached the board wi th plans for phases of the extension of the Center Trail making the connection thru Charlesview in two ways around the back of the development and thru existing streets with the exit coming out from the end of Joseph Rd into Colella Park and then into Hughes. Access thru Deer Run and then into the next phase adjacent to Echo Lake. Trying to avoid the access adjacent to Mr. Flannery’s property a solution was offered to purchase 294 Hayden Rowe Lot C from Metro West Holdings for $20,000 that also includes a right of way adjacent to Mr. Flannery’s driveway that would give the town other options. The landowner has been delinquent on taxes and felt this was a good time to approach for a purchase. A motion was made by Mr. Doherty, seconded by Nancy Peters to support the proposal to purchase the land from Mr. Croft and file an application to CPC for $20,000 from the Open Space bucket to complete this crucial final link to the Milford Bike Trail. It was approved unanimously. Meeting Adjourned 8:40pm
