A RESOLUTION: APPROVING THE BUDGET AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 1981.
WHEREAS, the budget and the tax rate for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1981
have been presented and reviewed by this Council which has approved a tentative
budget and tax rate for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1981; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing on the tentative budget and tax rate was held on
June 11, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the Manager has prepared the Revised Budget and Initial Appropriations
for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 1981, dated June 25, 1980 and filed the same with
the Clerk of Council:
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia, as
follows:
SECTION I. The Revised Budget and Initial Appropriations for the Fiscal Year
Ending June 30, 1981, dated June 25, 1980, is adopted and appropriations are made
for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1981 in the amounts shown under the "FY 1981
Initial Appropriations" column for the general, utility, airport, revenue sharing
and capital project funds, except as provided by other resolutions.
SECTION II. The Manager, after notice to the Council, is authorized to trans-
fer up to one-half of the amount of appropriations made herein to individual operations
and maintenance accounts within the same budget division.
