A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY INDICATING
NO CITY TAX RATE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
1965 -1966
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS Section 51511 of the Government Code of the State
of California specifies that annually before September 1, the City
Legislative Body shall fix the rate of taxes by designating the numb-
er of cents upon each one hundred dollars of assessed valuation, and
!4HEREAS, the City Legislative Body is further required to
transmit to the Auditor of the County of Los Angeles a statement of
the rates so fixed, and
WHEREAS, the revenues are sufficient from other sources for
the City to continue to provide a high level of municipal services
without the necessity of leveling a city tax rate,
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Temple City
does hereby determine that there will be a zero (0) tax rate for the
City of Temple City (no levy) for the fiscal year 1965 -1966.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of August, 1965.
