Moved by Harold Winter - halter to approve the minutes as amended by adding the words "for full time police officer" to the motion with regard to sick days. Seconded by Raymond Bosch Motion carried. The minutes of the special meeting of April 15th, 1970 read. Moved by Arthur Theis to approve the minutes as read. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried. Discussed sewer problems with William Mills and read a letter from Julius Dorweiler in this connection. Irving Bird appeared with regard to moving in house. The perk test is not good and could not give him approval. George Favorite appeared and showed an easement on Evergreen Road. This is an easement with George Favorite and does not belong to Village. Arnold Nrdman anpeared to complain about the situation regard to dogs in the Independence Beach area. Discussion as to what action can be done about dogs in the Village. Donald Des Lauriers is contacting each fire department in the Village to have them to appoint one man as fire inspector in their district and all to be under the jurisdiction of the Mayor as chief33fire marrshall. Meeting continued at 7:35 P. M. May 6th, 1970, with Wayne Neddermeyer, Harold Winterhalter, Arthur Theis and Donald Des Lauriers present. Conference with Bob Mann with regard to problems with regard to the sewer and water project. Also, discussed the p icing of Hamel road through the Hamel area. Discussed the type of fence to be put along the north side of the Outdoor:. Theater. Donald Des Lauriers is to discuss with Russel Boulel. Moved by Arthur Theis that the Village Clerk be authorized to transfer the accounts as requed.ed by the Auditor on pages 6 and 7 of the Auditor's Report. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried. Arthur Theis gave a report on the Welfare costs as compared with the other municipalities in the Cdunty. Moved by Harold Winterhalter that we accept the Auditor's Report. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried. A letter from the Hennepin County Department of Public Works was read, same letter stating that the Village will receive $3,573.16. A letter from County Director of Public Works with regard to new Sanitary landfill ordinance. Clerk to write requedting the date and place of the Hearing. Harold Winterhalter took the ordinance to study. Moved by'Harold Winterhalter that we authorize Leo to be provided with a private telephone line, we to pay the difference between that and the party line. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. A letter from Paul Cameron ofhthe Minneapolis Gas Co. with regard to execaaation permits was read. Announcement of Hennepin County League meeting to be held at May 7th at the St, Louis Park City Hall. Moved by Harold Winterhalter that the meting be adjourned.
