A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO CS LEGACY CONSTRUCTION, INC., IN THE
AMOUNT OF $457,970 FOR THE TEEN SQUARE PROJECT, PROJECT
NUMBER 05-5257, FEDERAL, PROJECT NO. 07-LA-0-LYN-STPLER-
5250(008); AND .AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Teen Square Project, Project Number 05-5257, Federal
Project No.07-LA-0-LYN STPLER-5250(008) is scheduled for completion during
FY 2005-2006; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on February 6, 2006 and CS
Legacy Construction was the apparent lowest bidder at $457,970.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the
necessary experience for this type of project.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Teen Square Project, Project
Number 05-5257, Federal Project No.07-LA-0-LYN STPLER-5250(008), be
awarded to CS Legacy Construction, for its low bid of $457,970.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the
agreement between the City of Lynwood and CS Legacy Construction.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21st day of February 2006.
