A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING THE APPROPRIATION AND ALLOCATION OF THE SUM OF
FOURTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($14,000) FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO
THE LYNWOOD MEADOWS BASKETBALL COURT PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO MAKE THE
NECESSARY FUND APPROPRIATION AND TRANSFER
WHEREAS, the State Department of Parks and Recreation awarded to
the City of Lynwood a grant of $76,950 for the construction of basketball courts
at Lynwood Meadows Park; and
WHEREAS, the matching funds for this project is in the sum of $14,000;
and
WHEREAS, the project cost estimate is $90,950 and funds need to be
appropriated and transferred to a new project; and
WHEREAS, un-appropriated General funds are available for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the Lynwood Meadows
Basketball Court Project.
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to make
the following funds appropriation and transfer for the Lynwood Meadows
Basketball Court Project as follows:

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
