TOWN OF LEESBURG

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VIRGINIA

CONCERNING BIDS FOR REFUSE COLLECTION SERVICE
WHEREAS, the contract with Grayson Refuse Service, Inc.
for refuse collection expires June 30, 1981;
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg
in Virginia as follows:
The manager shall invite bids from qualified persons, firms
and corporations for refuse collection service in the town for
the period July 1, 1981 through June 30, 1984. Bidders shall
be invited to quote monthly rates per unit for residential and
commercial service effective during the first year of the con-
tract. Unit prices for the second and third years of the con-
tract shall be adjusted by a percentage of the cha~ge recorded
during the previous year in the Gross National Product Implicit
Deflator (published by the U. S. Commerce Department), the per-
centage to be in accord with the successful bidder's proposal.
