HomeMy Public PortalAbout049-1983 - Appropriation - AirportAPPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 49-1983 AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT FUND. WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget; NOW THEREFCRE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CCH4CN COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE CCUNTY, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional suns of money are hereby appropriated. AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED MUNICIPAL AIRPORT FUND 2000 - Supplies $40,000. $40,000. 3000 - Other Services & Charges 8,000. 8,000. TOTAL $48,000. $48,000. SECTION 2. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation, the following additional suns of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the fund herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same. ANDUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED REDUCED CASH OPERATING FUND $48,000. $48,000. TOTAL $48,000. $48,000. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations. Councilman Mills presided with the following members present: Messrs. Elstro Williams Henry , Hankinson Welch Parker , Carter , Paust , Absent: None The following business was had, to -wit: (OTHER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of October 19 and October 26, 1983. Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the 7th day of November. 1983 , by the Common Council to consider additional appropriations as provided for in Ordinance No.49--1983 , within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Welch moved the proof of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed, seconded by Councilman Hankinson , and on voice vote the motion was carried. The Clerk read on second reading Ordinance No. 49--1983 President Mills announced Ordinance No. 49-1983 is on public hearing.
