PARTICULAR INTERSECTIONS AS STOP OR YIELD
INTERSECTIONS AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES FOR
VIOLATI~.

Section 1. STOP SIQ6-IOCATI~
When stop signs are erected and maintained giving notice thereof,
drivers of vehicles shall stop at the fOllowing intersections before
entering any of the following streets or portions of streets:

When entering from 44th Street; 45th Street; 47th
Street; 48th Street; Odessa; Perry ton; Rodeo;
and Danbury Streets

When entering from Hillcrest; Dundee; Farmstead;
Hedgerow; Auburn; Edgemoor and Krueger Streets

When entering from 47th Street; 4730 Oliver; 40th
Street and 37th Street; and 45th Street.

When entering from Harding; and Parkwood

Section 2. YIEID SIa6-IOCATICKS
When yield signs are erected and maintained the driver of
vehicles approaching a yield sign shall, in obedience to such sign,
slow down to a speed reasonable to the existing conditions and shall
yield the right of way to any vehicle in the intersection or
approaching on another street. Yield signs are to be erected and
maintained at the following locations:
The Northeast and Southwest corners of 47th Street
at its intersection of Farmstead Street.
The Northeast and the Southwest corners of 47th
Street at its intersections with Hillcrest Street.
The Northwest corner of Harding Street at its
intersection with 40th Street.
The Southwest corner of 40th Street at its
intersection with Harding Street.
The Northeast corner of 38th Street at its
intersection with Parkwood Street.
The Northeast and the Southwest corners of Memphis
Street at its intersections with Auburn Street.
Section 3.
P.mALTY .
The penalty for any person found guilty of failing to obey a stop
sign or a yield sign shall be as provided in the Uniform Traffic Code
as adopted by the City of Bel Aire.
Section 4.
JSt"t"'tC'1'1VE DATE
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its
publication in the official city newspaper.
