A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROPRIATING $41,645 OF TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT,
ARTICLE 3 FUNDS FOR THE SIDEWALK RECONTRUCTION PROJECT,
FY 2005-06
WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act, Article 3 (TDA) provides that
2% of each county's total local Transportation Fund be annually set aside and used to fund
the development of pedestrian and bicycle facilities; and
WHEREAS, the TDA funds allocation of the City of Lynwood for FY 2005-
06 is $38,136; and
WHEREAS, the TDA excess fund balance from FY 2003-04 is $3,509;
and
WHEREAS, the total available TDA funds for FY 2005-06 is $41,645; and
WHEREAS, staff has identified various locations citywide where
reconstruction of sidewalk is needed; and
WHEREAS, these sidewalks are eligible for the use of said funds.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to
make the following funds transfer and appropriations:

Section 2. That this resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
