A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE COVENANT AND
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE DEVELOPERS OF THE
PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 10900, 10910, AND 10930 LONG BEACH
BOULEVARD RELATIVE TO SITE PLAN REVIEW NO. 2004-30

WHEREAS, on November 9, 2003, the Site Plan Review Committee
reviewed and recommended approval to develop a new commercial shopping
center in the C-2A (Medium Commercial) zone at 10900, 10910, and 10930 Long
Beach Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, one of the conditions of approval requires the developers
to upgrade the existing traffic signal on Long Beach Boulevard at Norton Avenue to
a left-turn protected signal phasing in order to ease traffic congestion; and
WHEREAS, the developers of said development are required to sign a
covenant and agreement as guarantee that said signalized intersection is analyzed
for said upgrade.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1: That the Mayor is authorized to execute the Covenant and
Agreement between the City and the developers of the properties located at 10900,
10910, and 10930 Long Beach Boulevard.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption
