Entrance to Leesburg Executive Airport to Reopen Following
Improvements
Motorists can access the entrance beginning Tuesday, September 10, 2019.
Leesburg, VA (September 3, 2019) – The entrance to the Leesburg Executive Airport will reopen
to the public on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. It was temporarily closed during improvements,
which are a result of the Sycolin Road Widening project.
The project is currently in the third phase, which includes reconstruction of the northbound
lanes, installation of the median, sidewalk, and a multi-use shared path.
