Free Document Shredding Available to Leesburg Residents on
Saturday, October 26, 2019
Non-perishable food items will be collected during the event for Loudoun
Hunger Relief.
Leesburg, VA (October 11, 2019) –The Leesburg
Public Works & Capital Projects Department will
host its next free community document shredding
event on Saturday, October 26 from 9:00 a.m. to
1:00 p.m. at Heritage High School (520 Evergreen
Mill Road SE, Leesburg). The event will be held
rain or shine but will close early if all shredding
vehicles are full.
Residents (no businesses, please) may bring up to
three (3) boxes or bags of documents, 32 gallons or less, per vehicle. For a list of items
acceptable for shredding, as well as tips on identity theft protection, please visit the Town
website at www.leesburgva.gov/shredevents.
During the shredding event, the Town is partnering with Loudoun Hunger Relief to collect non-
perishable food items. Visit www.loudounhunger.org for a list of most-needed food items.
Donations of gift cards to local area grocery stores also will be accepted. Donations are
encouraged but not required for participation.
