Employees Recognized for Dedication and Service to the Town
Fifty employees were recognized during the annual event.
Leesburg, VA (October 11, 2019) β Employees
who have worked for the Town of Leesburg five,
10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years were recognized
during the annual Employee Service Awards on
Thursday, October 10, 2019.
Town Manager Kaj Dentler presented certificates
of appreciation to everyone in attendance. Among
them were seven employees who have worked for
the Town of Leesburg for 30 years. They included
Lisa Smith with the Department of Finance and
Administrative Services; Captain Wes Thompson
with the Leesburg Police Department; Calvin Grow
and Scott Lincoln with Public Works and Capital
Projects; and Lyle Fisher, Roger Hall, and Ricky Mullins with Department of Utilities.
βThe Town of Leesburg is pleased to recognize our employees not only for their years of
service, but to acknowledge them for their dedication to our residents, businesses, and
visitors,β Dentler said.
Mayor Kelly Burk, Vice Mayor Marty Martinez, and Council Member Ron Campbell helped
present each employee with a certificate of appreciation during the event. Town employees are
recognized annually during Customer Service Week.
