Leesburg’s Economic Development Commission to Host On the
Table Discussion
The event will be held at US Taekwondo Martial Arts Academy on Monday,
November 4, 2019.
Leesburg, VA (October 31, 2019) – Leesburg’s Economic Development Commission will host an
On the Table event on Monday, November 4, beginning at 7 p.m.
On the Table is an opportunity to gather and have a conversation to build personal connections
and explore how residents can work together to make our community stronger. Residents are
encouraged to attend and discuss ways to improve quality of life in Leesburg.
Following the event, a summary of the conversation will be provided to Town staff. The
feedback will be used to help guide the work of a Town Plan charrette that begins on November
7, 2019.
The event will take place at US Taekwondo Martial Arts Academy (9 Cardinal Park Drive) in
Leesburg. For more information about hosting an On the Table event, visit
https://legacy.leesburgva.gov/on-the-table. On the Table discussions should be held and
feedback returned to the Town no later than November 5, 2019.
The Leesburg Town Plan is a policy document that guides the future development of the Town.
The current plan was adopted in June 2012. The Town has hired a team of consultants led by
Stantec Architecture to produce a complete rewrite of the Town Plan. The project is expected to
be completed in Summer 2020. For more information about the Town Plan Update, contact
