Yard Waste Collection Ends for the Season on November 25, 2019
Leesburg, VA (November 18, 2019) – The last yard
waste collection for the 2019 season will be Monday,
November 25, 2019. Yard waste will not be collected
during the months of December, January, February, or
March.
If residents have yard waste during the winter months,
it will be collected as trash on residents’ normal trash
and recycling days. Collection of yard waste will resume
on April 6, 2020.
Yard waste includes grass clippings, leaves, weeds, small branches, and other small garden
waste, which is collected on Mondays throughout the Town, by Patriot Disposal Services. Please
note, the end of yard waste collection does not impact bulk leaf collection (which runs through
the end of December), or year-round brush collection. A description of each collection can be

Until November 25, 2019, yard waste collection will continue to be once per week, on Monday,
