No. 14053 appropriating $1,350,000.00 from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal at DC-06 Deer Creek Sanitary Relief Phase III & I/I Reduction (10576), in the Cities of Creve Coeur and Frontenac, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No.20240 with J. No. 14059 making a supplemental appropriation of $20,000.00 from the Operations, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for additional project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Dickson Street #1033 Storm Sewer (11214) in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri. 19 Adoption of proposed Ord. No. 14060 declaring the necessity for the acquisition of easements and temporary easements in certain real property within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for the purpose of construction of sewers and related appurtenances in the project known as Providence Sanitary Relief (SKME-640) (11700)in the City of Webster Groves, Missouri, to serve the needs of residents of the area, and authorizing staff to proceed with further condemnation efforts related to the project, including but not limited to the purchase and/or the filing of all necessary court pleadings or documents to commence and prosecute formal legal proceedings for the acquisition of said easements and temporary construction easements. Constructed CSO (BP-059) has a removal date of June 30, 2017 per the Consent Decree. This project is scheduled to be completed in 735 days. This work is part of the District’s ongoing CMOM program and complies with the acute defect repair requirements outlined in the Consent Decree. As projects are identified, contractors will be hired by the rules of the Purchasing Ordinance. This ordinance appropriates an additional $1,500,000 to allow the repair program to continue and brings the total appropriation to $8,500,000. The supplemental appropriation is expected to be apportioned as follows: $1,500,000 Small Repairs – Work orders identified by Operations and Engineering The Sanitary Replacement Fund will be used for capital expenditures; the General Fund for non-capital. The capital portion of this project is expected to be funded by Bond proceeds.
