Leesburg Environmental Advisory Commission Hosting W&OD
Trail Cleanup to Start 2019’s Keep Leesburg Beautiful
Leesburg, VA (March 21, 2019) – The Leesburg Environmental Advisory Commission, in
collaboration with the Town’s Department of Public Works and Capital Projects, is starting
2019’s Keep Leesburg Beautiful Month with a litter cleanup event along the W&OD Trail.

WHEN: Saturday, March 30, 2019

Interested volunteers are invited to meet at Raflo Park, where Harrison Street crosses the
W&OD Trail. The Town will provide safety vests, gloves, and trash bags. Volunteers are
encouraged to wear sturdy shoes and to bring their own reusable water bottles. To register,

Keep Leesburg Beautiful is a month-long opportunity throughout April each year for businesses,
residents, and community groups to come together to make Leesburg a cleaner place for all.
