TOWN OF LEESBURG
IN
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VIRGINIA
PRESENTED July 8, 1981

INDICATING INTEREST IN ACQUISITION OF THE LEESBURG DOWNTOWN
POSTAL SERVICE STATION
WHEREAS, the U. S. Postal Service has a building in Leesburg, the
Downtown Station, which is in excess of its needs and is preparing to offer
the building for sale to interested state, county or municipal agencies;
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Vir-
ginia as follows:
The Council expresses its interest in the purchase of the building
from the Postal Service and the manager shall secure an appraisal of the
fair market value of the building and land at a cost not to exceed. $200.00.
