High School Graduation Season Underway
Traffic delays and road closures are expected.
Leesburg, VA (June 3, 2019) – Three area high schools will hold their annual graduation
ceremonies on Monday, June 10 and Tuesday, June 11, 2019. As a result, both vehicle and
pedestrian traffic will be heavy while some road closures will be in effect. The graduation
schedules, along with announced road closures, are as follows:
Monday, June 10, 2019
Loudoun County High School, 8:00 a.m.
Road closures: Dry Mill Road SE will be closed from Catoctin Circle to Lee Avenue,
beginning at 7:30 a.m. until the conclusion of the ceremony, approximately 10:00 a.m.
Drivers should be aware of this road closure and choose alternate routes. In the event of
rain, the graduation ceremony will be moved into the school gymnasium.
Heritage High School, 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday, June 11, 2019
Tuscarora High School, 8:00 a.m.
The high school is also a polling location for the primary election that day.
