Trail Improvements Underway at Foxridge Park
Residents are asked to avoid the area until work has been completed.
Leesburg, VA (July 11, 2019) – As part of Public Works’
trail maintenance program, crews will be resurfacing
the southern passive walking trail of Foxridge Park
beginning the week of July 22.
To prepare, crews have started to mark the trail for
root removal while identifying the location of utilities.
Edging and crack filling is expected to take place the
week of July 15, which will be followed by removal of
existing asphalt in select locations beginning July 22.
The entire project is expected to take up to three
weeks. Until then, residents are asked to stay off the
trail while the routine maintenance takes place. We kindly ask that residents and children keep
away from all equipment and work areas while the maintenance is being performed.
