Art Exhibit to Feature Paper Collages Created by Students at
Frances Hazel Reid
The exhibit will include 32 pieces that depict weavings, sandwich towers, and
self-portraits.
Leesburg, VA (May 28, 2019) – The Leesburg
Commission on Public Art (COPA) is pleased to
announce a new art display that will be available for
viewing at Leesburg Town Hall (25 West Market
Street) beginning Saturday, June 1.
Summer in Loudoun County is a boutique exhibit
sponsored by the Loudoun Breast Health Network
(LBHN) (www.lbhn.org), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit
providing assistance to the residents of Loudoun
County who are going through breast cancer
treatment.
Artists from the Countryside Quilters and Waterford Quilters Guilds were invited to share their
summer memories of Loudoun County by featuring the agrarian part of Loudoun County, Nine
quilts will be featured in the display, resembling winieries, country landscapes, and the
Loudoun County Fair, just to name a few.
The art exhibit will be on display from Saturday, June 1 to Saturday, August 31, 2019. An
opening reception will be held during Leesburg First Friday on Friday, June 7, from 7 to 8 p.m.
