Town Plan Design Charrette Presentation Video Online
Residents can still provide feedback on the project website.
Leesburg, VA (December 2, 2019) – For those who were not able to attend the Town Plan
Design Charrette earlier this month, the video of the consultant’s closing presentation is
available on the project website at legacy.leesburgva.gov.
Over the six days of the Design Charrette, the consultant team and staff held a series of
interactive discussion with stakeholders and members of the public. At the end of the event,
the consultant team presented a summary of the work done during the week.
In addition to the video, the project website includes a number of surveys and other interactive
features that allow residents to share their visions for the future of Leesburg.
The Leesburg Town Plan is a policy document that guides the future development of the Town.
The current plan was adopted in June 2012. The Town has hired a team of consultants led by
Stantec Architecture and City Explained, Inc., to produce a complete rewrite of the Town Plan.
The project is expected to be completed in Summer 2020. For more information about the Town
