Annual Christmas and Holiday Parade Scheduled for Saturday,
December 14, 2019
King Street will close to vehicular traffic beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Leesburg, VA (December 6, 2019) –The Town
of Leesburg will host its annual Christmas and
Holiday parade on Saturday, December 14,
2019.
To prepare, King Street will be closed to
vehicular traffic at 5:30 p.m. from Battlefield
Parkway to Catoctin Circle. The parade will
begin at 6:00 p.m. and usher Santa and his
friends down King Street, through the heart of
historic Leesburg. The parade will begin at Ida
Lee Drive and end at Fairfax Street.
Parade participation is open to the public, including businesses, civic groups, teams,
organizations, and community groups. A registration form can be found online or can be filled
out, in person, at Ida Lee Recreation Center.
Prior to the parade, between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m., historic downtown Leesburg will feature
festive entertainment including roaming characters, strolling musicians, horse drawn carriage
rides, and photos with Santa, sponsored by the Leesburg Downtown Business Association
(LDBA). While shopping in downtown Leesburg, be sure to grab a bite to eat in one of
Leesburg’s many fine restaurants!
