Town of Leesburg Welcomes New Director of Information
Technology
Leesburg, VA (April 24, 2019) – The Town of Leesburg
announces the hiring of Jakub “Kuba” Jedrzejczak as the new
director of information technology.
With over 22 years of experience, Jedrzejczak has earned a
reputation for leveraging technology to enhance business
processes, software development, systems analysis, and
implementation. He also specializes in leadership and IT team
management.
For the last 13 years, Jedrzejczak has worked for the County of
Loudoun following four years at Lightkeeper Inc. as director of
operations. He also successfully operated his own IT company,
in Poland, for five years, before immigrating to the United States in 2002.
During his tenure with Loudoun County, Jedrzejczak received a number of awards and
recognition for his hard work and dedication including the Loudoun County Platinum Individual
Award, Run Smarter Award, in the government category, and the Tom Wayman Leadership
Award.
Jedrzejczak received his degree in Information Technology and Econometrics from the
University of Szczecin in Poland in 2002. In 2010, he graduated from Leadership Loudoun and
holds multiple technology and management certifications including Certified Specialist in
Management Leadership (CSML), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Laserfiche Certified
Professional Program (CPP). He is also on the ECPI University Information Technology Advisory
Board and a member of the Laserfiche Executive Advisory Board.
Other than being a technology expert, Jedrzejczak is passionate about learning and teaching
about emotional intelligence and believes that mentoring and a good understanding of
emotional intelligence can have a very positive impact on the organization and individuals
enhancing the success of both. Jedrzejczak said he hopes to exceed everyone’s expectations
while delivering accessible and reliable technology services for the Town of Leesburg.
