A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO DAMON CONSTRUCTION CO. IN THE
AMOUNT OF $41,210 FOR THE SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AT
VARIOUS LOCATIONS, PROJECT NUMBER 05-5324, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
~" WHEREAS, the Sidewalk Improvement Project is funded with TDA funds;
and
WHEREAS, the informal bid opening took place on May 1, 2006 and
Damon Construction Co. was the apparent low bidder at $41,210; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the
necessary experience for this type of project.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Sidewalk Improvement Project at
various locations, Project Number 5-5324, be awarded to Damon Construction
Co. for its bid of $41,210.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the
agreement between the City of Lynwood and Damon Construction Co.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16~h day of May 2006.
