A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ACCEPTING THE REPENS FICUS PLANTING PROJECT, PROJECT NO.
05-5312, AS BEING COMPLETE
WHEREAS, the Repens Ficus Planting Pilot Program's intent is to
beautify the City and deter graffiti activities within the City; and
WHEREAS, On March 1, 2005, the City Council authorized staff to
j proceed with the Repens Ficus Planting Project, Project No. 05-5312 through an
informal bid process; and
WHEREAS, The project started on September 13, 2005 and was
completed on November 4, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the Repens Ficus Planting Project, Project No. 05-5312 was
awarded to TruGreen Landcare through the informal bid process; and
WHEREAS, the final payable construction cost is $40,486.55; and
WHEREAS, staff conducted the final inspection on November 15, 2005
and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Lynwood City Council DOES HEREBY FIND,
PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. That the Repens Ficus Planting Project, Project Number
05-5312, is completed in accordance with contract documents.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of May 2006.
